The Community at Home workshop series is designed by volunteers to encourage socialization, participation, and community connections, while creating awareness about topics and issues of interest.

Frauds and Scams   

The Grand River Council on Aging invites Saundra Glover, Crime Prevention Officer with the Brantford Police Service to discuss Frauds and Scams. Saundra will share practical tips to help you recognize common frauds and scams, protect your personal information, and know what to do if you suspect a scam.

NOTE: In recognition of Remembrance Day, this workshop will be held at 1:00 p.m., allowing participants time to observe the morning’s commemorations and honour those who have served.
