Your Voice Matters: How Focus Groups Help Shape Our Healthcare System in Brantford Brant and Norfolk
Have you ever wished decision-makers could hear directly from you about what’s working—or not—in our healthcare system? That’s exactly what focus groups are designed to do.

What is a Focus Group?
A focus group is a small, in-person conversation where community members share their experiences and perspectives on topics like online appointment booking, e-referrals, or living with chronic conditions like COPD, diabetes, or heart failure.

These discussions are confidential, guided by a trained facilitator, and created to be a safe, respectful space where your voice truly matters.

Why Participate?
Your insights help shape real improvements across our healthcare network. By better understanding your lived experience, we can work together to create systems that are more accessible, compassionate, and effective.

After the series of focus groups wraps up, each participant will receive a report that highlights what was shared (without identifying anyone personally) and outlines next steps. This way, your feedback doesn’t just disappear—it informs meaningful change.

We’re grateful to all who participate. When you share your story, you help build a stronger, more responsive healthcare system for everyone.
